Admissions Overview Process


Admissions are granted in PGS to students based on their successful clearing of the admissions aptitude tests and meeting the detailed admissions criteria. PGS may call for short interview with parents on a case by case basis.

The PGS Schools in Asia Pacific (excluding India) grant admissions on first-cum-first serve basis only and admissions are granted throughout the academic year to meet the education needs of relocating diaspora. The PGS Schools in India however grant admissions on ballot basis or first cum first serve basis if seats are available.

Admission Procedure

Stage 1 – Submit the online PGS Admissions Form from this website (keep all student details handy).

Stage 2 – PGS Admissions department would inform you of the aptitude test date.

Stage 3 – Student appears for aptitude test and result is informed within 4 days of test.

Stage 4 – Student Registration & Payment of fees (to be done within 7 working days from test result).

Admissions are generally open at PGS for the following school levels. However different PGS Schools may open admissions for specific levels only, thus it is advisable to view the specific PGS school website->Admissions section.

  • Kindergarten.
  • Primary School.
  • Middle School.
  • Nursery to Senior KG.
  • Standard 1 to 5.
  • Standard 6 to 8.
  • Secondary School.
  • Junior College.
  • Standard 9 to 10.
  • Standard 11 & 12.

The PGS admission criteria are as follows:

Age Criteria 2.5 years complete for Nursery on 1st day of academic year.
5 years complete as of 1st day of Academic year for Std1

Document Checklist (to be submitted to admission office)
  • Color Photo (passport size).
  • Passport copy (international students).
  • Identification certificate (international students).
  • Birth Certificate.
  • Transfer Certificate (from previous school).
  • Photocopy of previous school Mark-sheets (originals to be sighted at admissions time).
